Double date: Glasstec and Marmomac

We have waited a long time to return to the trade fairs, shake hands and proudly display our vacuum lifters. That moment has arrived intensively, leading to our participation in two international trade shows: Glasstec (Düsseldorf) from September 20 to 23 and Marmomac (Verona) the following week.

Organizing and managing two exhibitions of such magnitude within such a short distance is not easy: it requires excellent time management, careful compliance with deadlines and a planning down to the smallest detail. Fortunately, these are all features that are part of Righetti’s modus operandi.

What does participating in two such different trade shows represent for Righetti?

After two years of shutting down, wearing masks and keeping distances, trade shows help businesses flourish new relationships and reinvigorate existing ones. No business goes on by itself without partnerships, and the human interaction still proves itself crucial to that. Participating in Glasstec first and Marmomac later was a testing ground for us: many things have changed since the last time we attended as exhibitors, so this dual participation allowed us to confront ourselves with the market.

Why participate in Glasstec, International Glass Fair?

Glass is a material that is becoming increasingly popular in the construction industry. This represents an increase in demand for glass vacuum lifters not only for in-house production but also for installation on construction sites. This trend is growing in many countries around the world, so presenting ourselves as the vacuum lifter specialists at such a trade show was the right thing to do.

Many people still remember us as a small company, but in recent years we have grown both internally and internationally, and our booth clearly demonstrated this. As a symbol of our growth, we chose to display our majestic GLE3000 vacuum lifter – we can proudly say that this masterpiece of technology was the most impressive glass vacuum lift in the entire exhibition.

This is what we wanted to convey: the certainty that Righetti can truly meet all needs for glass handling, both in production and on the construction site.

Presence at Marmomac, International Marble Fair: why?

Marble is the world we started working with more than two decades ago. At Marmomac, we are “playing at home,” so it is important to participate and continue to make ourselves known to new people. The opportunities for growth in this sector have not ended, on the contrary: the development of new materials such as ceramics are constantly pushing us to create new vacuum lifters that meet the most specific needs of our customers.

In recent years we have created a full-fledged line of suction cup lifters specifically for porcelain slabs and other fragile materials, as well as compact battery-powered vacuum lifters for operating in outdoor environments where there is no power supply.

What are the post-show considerations?

As in so many similar situations, it is still early to decree the success of events of this scale. However, we are happy with the first results: interest in our glass and marble vacuum lifters was conspicuous, and we want to thank all the visitors who stopped by our booths. We hope that new long-term partnerships will emerge from these events and that further interesting collaborations will arise.
