Flexibility during sandwich panels installation is the key: by using just one cladding vacuum lifter, you’ll be able to install both wall and roofing insulated panels.
Many companies installing insulated panels are not only involved in the installation of insulated wall panels or the installation of roof panels, but carry out both applications. For this reason, Righetti has designed a vacuum lifter that can meet both needs. Roofing and cladding are two different applications both in terms of the type of panel to be installed and the installation method to be used. Having a single tool that allows both the handling of roofing panels and the installation of wall panels is a great competitive advantage.
CL1-6 is the perfect vacuum lifter for installing both sandwich wall panels and insulated roof panels. Let’s find out why:
Sandwich panels are not all the same: adapting the dimensions of the suction lifter to the panel lengths ensures adequate support and stability for the panel. This is possible thanks to the modular structure of Righetti vauum lifter, which can be configured according to both the length and type of panel. With a single suction lifter it is therefore possible to install sandwich panels for roofing, horizontal wall and vertical wall.
Respect of deadlines on site is crucial: a vacuum lifter must be ready for use ina quick and easy way. Righetti lifters can be assembled in just a few steps without the need for tools thanks to quick couplings.
The technology and structure of the lifter allow you to install panels easily, quickly, and safely, thus guaranteeing the stability of the load regardless of the type of panel. This is also possible thanks to the special gripping and suction system, designed by Righetti’s R&D department, which ensures safe and immediate suction even of micro-ribbed and corrugated panels.
Righetti vacuum lifters are powered by built-in batteries for operating without the obstruction of external power cords. Batteries are rechargeable and easily replaceable when needed, so your worksite never stops. With the included dual battery kit, you can always have a charged set of batteries to get your work done without interruption.
It’s often useful to have a wireless radio remote control to manage panel suction and release, making it easy to detach the lift remotely. On the entire CL1 series, the radio remote control is available as an option.
Suction lifters are designed primarily for handling and installing sandwich panels on construction sites. For this reason they are equipped with safety systems and a dual vacuum circuit in full compliance with European regulations EN13155. Approved by site safety managers, our vacuum lifters no longer make it necessary to use slings or other secondary lifting systems.
Using a suction lifter is not limited to the work itself; it also requires considerations for transportation and storage. Righetti’s R&D department has designed a compact sized parking stand that is composed with the very frame of the vacuum lifter to reduce the dimensions of the cladding lifter to the size of a pallet (100x80cm).
CL1 is an extremely modular suction lifter, as it allows multiple configurations for insulated roof, horizontal wall and vertical wall panels. Starting from a closed configuration of 1680mm, its structure can be extended to over 4m thanks to the standard arms. This configuration allows the lifting of panels up to 12 metres long. For panels longer than 12 metres, however, additional extension arms can be added to give the panel more support (CL1-6 EXT). This model can easily adapt to smooth, micro-ribbed and corrugated surfaces; in case of special insulated panels (such as roof-tile effect panels, wavy panels, sheet metal profiles, panels with high ribs), the vacuum lifter is supplied with specific suction pads: for this reason we always recommend checking with our team the compatibility of the standard pads with the type of panel.
